The following activities are conducted as part of the public awareness campaign to prevent child abuse.
- Every May, the city holds a booth at the Koto Children's Festival, where flyers and promotional materials are distributed.
- Every July, before summer vacation, the city distributes clear folders to third- and sixth-grade students at elementary schools in the district that list child abuse reporting and counseling resources.
- The city also has a booth at the Koto Civic Festival in October every year, where it distributes flyers and promotional materials.
- During the Orange Ribbon Child Abuse Prevention Campaign held every November, the city holds a panel display on child abuse prevention in the lobby of the city hall and conducts public awareness activities. In FY 2024, the city conducted awareness-raising activities in collaboration with Alvark Tokyo, with whom it has a mutual cooperation agreement.In addition, articles on child abuse prevention are published in city newsletters and posters are displayed on public bulletin boards throughout the city.
